The annual World Evidence-based Healthcare (EBHC) Day celebration is upon us and this year, the theme of the campaign is Health and Beyond: From Evidence to Action. Global experts have identified the crucial time of polycrisis that the world is in now and its impact on health, and has identified that only through intersectoral or multidisciplinary actions beyond health can global health challenges be addressed.
Therefore, being a key stakeholder within the global evidence ecosystem with a focus on promoting Evidence-based Practice (EBP) within Physiotherapy globally, the EBP Research Group of the Ghana Physiotherapy Association joins this year’s campaign in hosting a virtual fireside chat to explore ideas on translating health research (focus on rehabilitation) into action in a polycrisis context in Ghana.
